Agoda 「AGODA de GO GO da!」
ConceptJapanese travelers don’t lack the urge to go. They lack the push. Trips get planned, saved, and quietly abandoned at the booking screen. Agoda’s answer is the Agojis: tiny cheerleaders who show up at the exact moment of hesitation and cheer until the doubt gives way to a great deal. “Hmm, should I…?” becomes “Oh, let’s GO!” (アゴダでゴーゴーだ!AGODA de GO, GO da~!)
The TV commercial was edited into 15s and 6s versions for various formats.
Launched across TV and social, アゴダでゴーゴーだ! marked a shift in the face of the brand, moving from comedy duo Bananaman to actress Riisa Naka. Where Bananaman had built Agoda’s reliability and approachability, Riisa brought a fresh energy that matched the campaign’s spirit. Known for her bright, natural presence and easy comic timing, she is someone a 25–44 audience has grown up with on screen, which makes her instantly trustworthy without feeling distant.
To make that push feel unmistakably local, the campaign drew on deeply Japanese cultural icons, from the folklore kappa to Tokusatsu superheroes. Familiar to every generation, these characters gave Agoda a voice that felt native rather than imported, turning the nudge to travel into something both culturally relatable and reassuringly familiar.
